Cruising south into the "RAMSAR" listed Marine Park. The history and beauty of Pumicestone Passage and Bribie Island will unfold before your eyes, with many native and migrating shorebirds often seen in this remote area of the park. The birds are easily viewed as we cruise in close to the sandbanks and treeline, and you will feel completely immersed in the environment as we cruise along.
We make a stop at Bells Creek picnic ground for morning tea, then continue cruising south past Lighthouse Reach (site of the original manned lighthouses), from here we start to view the Glasshouse Mountains as we continue to Roy's farm (famous for citrus fruit) now growing strawberries and veggies for the local market, taking some time here to enjoy the scenery before returning north.
You should see some of these fellows as well. The Majestic White Bellied Sea Eagle! King of the coastal raptors.

On the return trip we cruise in close to the northern tip of Bribie Island and put the boat ashore to explore through the sand dunes and enjoy a walk along the deserted beach. If the tide is high enough we can stop at the Lions Park picnic ground on Bribie Island, this was the landing zone used to ferry troops across to "Fort Bribie" during World War 2.
